Richard Herrera Ovando is the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Voron Investment Group in the Dominican Republic. He leads the Firm’s operations and, drawing on a career built across finance and enterprise, its work in the domestic market.

A citizen of the Dominican Republic, Mr Herrera brings a first-hand understanding of the market in which the Firm invests — its openings, its risks, and the ground-level knowledge on which the Firm’s presence depends. He holds an MBA from the Autonomous University of Santo Domingo.

He co-founded Voron Investment Group to bring institutional discipline to a market he knows intimately, and to build positions alongside the Firm’s clients rather than sell products to them.
